This Privacy Policy explains how TryFix ("TryFix", "we", "us") collects, uses, shares, and protects your information when you use the TryFix mobile app, websites, and related services (collectively, the "Services").
1. Information We Collect
- Account information: name, email, authentication identifiers, and profile photo (if provided).
- Location information: your device location (precise or approximate depending on permission) to show nearby services/providers, calculate distance, and support bookings.
- Booking information: service category, address/location, description, optional photos (if required for a service), and booking status updates.
- Chat and communications: messages and attachments exchanged through in-app chat and support chat.
- Verification information (providers): documents and details submitted for verification (e.g., selfie and identity document images) to approve provider profiles.
- Payments and subscriptions: payment status and transaction metadata for paid features (we do not store your full card/bank details; these are handled by the payment provider).
- Device and usage data: app events, crash logs, device identifiers, and diagnostics to keep the app stable and improve performance.
2. How We Use Information
- Provide, operate, and improve the Services.
- Enable bookings, matching, chat, and notifications.
- Verify provider profiles and help prevent fraud and abuse.
- Process paid activations/subscriptions and provide receipts or confirmations.
- Provide customer support and resolve disputes.
- Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms.
3. How We Share Information
We share information only as needed to run the Services:
- Between customers and providers: booking details, approximate distance, and contact/profile details necessary to complete the job (as shown in the app).
- Service providers (vendors): hosting, analytics, push notifications, authentication, maps, and customer support tooling.
- Payment providers: to process payments for subscriptions and service activation.
- Legal and safety: if required by law, to protect users, or to enforce our Terms.
We do not sell your personal information.
4. Third-Party Services
TryFix uses third-party services to provide core functionality. This may include (depending on your device and configuration) services such as Firebase Authentication, Firebase Cloud Messaging (push notifications), Google Maps, analytics/crash reporting, Google Ads, and payment processing (e.g., Razorpay). These providers may process data as described in their own policies.
5. Permissions
The app may request permissions such as Location, Camera, Photos, and Notifications. You can enable/disable permissions in your device settings, but some features may not work without them.
6. Data Retention
We retain information for as long as needed to provide the Services, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. We may retain certain records (such as transactions and bookings) for compliance and audit purposes.
7. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. Children’s Privacy
The Services are not intended for children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us and we will take appropriate steps.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version and update the effective date above.
